Description
Goat’s Rue has been used to treat TB, to treat digestive issues, lower blood sugar levels, and as a blood purifier. It is also a popular herb for breastfeeding mothers as it’s used to increase milk supply. The botanical name "Galega" is comes from "gala", meaning milk, and "ago", meaning "to bring on".
It is mucilaginous herb with a bitter, astringent taste, that combines well with Alfalfa leaf. It is also a diuretic, has antibacterial properties
An infusion of 1tsp of dried Goat’s Rue & Fenugreek seeds in one cup of boiling water. Steep for 15 minutes. Strain and enjoy warm or cool twice daily to maintain healthy blood sugar levels.
Drug Interaction :
Do not take with Antidiabetic and Anticoagulant medications. It may worsen, cancel or reduce the effect of Goat’s Rue
